The Speedo Fastskin Hyper Elite is the next step on from the well-known Fastskin Elite racing goggle. It has been designed for racing, with a hydrodynamic profile, wide vision and a secure fit that helps swimmers feel confident on race day.

The mirror lens finish is popular with competition swimmers because it helps reduce brightness and glare. It also gives the goggles a clean race look and hides your eyes, which many swimmers like when they step onto the poolside.

Fit advice from our event team

We work with Speedo at major competitive swimming events across the UK as their event retail partner. That gives us real experience helping swimmers choose and fit Speedo Fastskin Hyper Elite Mirror Goggles for race day.

In our experience, the adult Hyper Elite fits many older club swimmers and adult swimmers well. The biggest difference usually comes from choosing the right nose bridge and placing the goggle seal correctly around the eye socket.

If the goggles feel too narrow or too wide, change the nose bridge before pulling the strap tighter. Over tightening can make goggles uncomfortable and can sometimes make the seal worse.

Adult or junior Hyper Elite?

The Speedo Fastskin Hyper Elite Junior model is designed for younger competitive swimmers, but age should not be the only thing you use when choosing.

Look at face shape, head size and how the seal sits around the eyes. Some younger swimmers may move into the adult size earlier, while some older swimmers may still get a better fit from the junior model.
